A new start?

Well, summer is almost upon us, and I haven’t been on here for a while. I’ve been marking exams for quite a bit of the time, and I have two more sessions coming up. It’s monotonous work, but it pays fairly well and I can do it at home, so it fits around things I’d like to do. The main piece of news at the moment, is that I’m finally getting fit 🙂 I’ve been on a self-made programme for about 9 weeks now, and it consists of running, playing squash and eating healthily and smaller portions. I have to say that it’s working. I’ve lost circa 2 stone (around 14kg) and I am now comfortably 2 sizes less than I was before. People and students at work are often commenting that I’ve lost enough now, but I want to be able to have a flat stomach that doesn’t wobble when I laugh or jiggle when I jog – not too much to ask for. I’m also using weights and started sit-ups to try and kick things into shape. I’ll have to keep you posted on how I go. Plan to go and take some new photos this weekend before marking starts again the following week. This picture is an old one from Kew Gardens.
