Anyway, back to the present day and here in London, we’ve had a 24 hour tube strike. Lovely it was. So, on Tuesday morning, I got up at 5.30am and got on the train to get to Victoria. Now, if you’ve been reading my recent posts (take note, there may be a test on this), I’ve been using the new Boris Bikes in London (Bojo bikes :)), and I registered and got my own key. So, at Victoria, I found a Bojo bike and started my journey to Oxford Street/Soho. It was a little hair-raising, but I cycled past Buckingham Palace and down the Mall which was lovely. Didn’t take any photos as I didn’t want to be late for work. Cycling to work made me feel part of a group – there were loads of cyclists that day, and it was rather exciting- but exhausting! I took the Bojo bike back at the end of the day and then jumped on the train 🙂
Will have to tell you about the senior teacher role I’ve just recently taken on.
