Photography Course

Last Saturday, I took the plunge and went on a photography course in central London.  It was called ‘Explore your Digital Camera Part 1’ with a professional photographer.  It was really informative and the bloke running it was great.  We learned how to get off auto mode and into semi-auto mode.  There’s still some things that I couldn’t grasp, like focussing on something in the foreground and blurring the background, especially with a landscape.  I found I could do it when zoomed in very closely, but I just couldn’t do it for a landscape.  Something to practise I think.  I met a great new friend called Diana who is also interested in photography, so we’re gonna try and meet up for photo shoots.  It’s going to be great.  Here’s a couple of my favourite shots from that day – see more on the photo website.
